C6 victory red or C5 torch red, which is better and whats the difference?

C6 victory red or C5 torch red, which is better and whats the difference?
Which color do you like better C6 victory red or C5 torch red and what is the most difference between them? To me they look very similar but hear alot of people prefer torch red to victory red. I never owned a C5 torch red but had a 02 magnetic red and a 03 ann. red C5.

I like Reds but not either of the reds but I like the new Monterey Red Metillic. I had torch red on 2 of my past Vettes 88,96 just got burn out on it. Victory red is like lips stick.

To my eye the TR's much brighter while the VR had a touch of blue, subduing the color.
Liked 'em both in their time.

I had an 04 Torch red that I traded on my C6 VR. When they were side by side at the dealer the VR looks a little muted but at the same time it looks like its a purer red, maybe less orange. I like them both.

We have a TR C5, and a VR C6 on order. Both are good colors, I don't like the brownish tint of the Monterrey Red but that's just me.
In bright sunlight I like the VR red better, TR looks a little orange in the same light. But on a cloudy day, early morning, or late afternoon; the TR simply looks brighter and the orange tint disappears.
What makes the color look best is the fact that it's on a Corvette.
