Just a couple things people should be aware of.
1) Make sure it's not too cold, the adhesive on the seal doesn't like it too cold.
2) After the seal has been applied to the housing and one's putting the lense housing back in?
Be sure to note the metal clip the housing screw screws into.
It's only slid/clipped over the rubber facia & can easdily be pushed off, accidentally.
SO be careful not to inadvertently push the clip off when reinstalling the lense housing!!

This happened to me on the first one.
Luckily the clip fell onto a ledge directly below the opening where I could find it (and reach it), not somewhere lower in the Corvette rearend's netherland areas.

Looks great & obviously will do as advertised, keep water out!

Thanks!!! Very good point! I will add the clip thing to my instructions!

See ya,

Jim

If there are other people who want white, send me an email and I will special order them for you.

Thanks,

Jim:

Are these grey or black seals? I've got an LMB and I don't want these seals to show.

Thanks.

The seals are black...I have one extra set in white (which is a special order). They really are not noticable...Black would look best on LMB.

See ya,

Jim

Thanks....that will do it for me. Ordering a set.

I've got the car on a incline and washing it is always tricky with the "loose" water.

Thanks!

The seals will definitely fix the drip

HA!!
Now I don't feel like such a dork knowing someone else had this happen.

Well they work great, so go for it.

I read a poster ask whether they're noticable once installed.
Let me say my '06 is VR & the seals are black.
I challenge anyone to show me where they are.

On all color cars except white they'd look as-if they came on the car and on second thought I'm thinking even on a white car they'd disappear, as well.
Looking like nothing more than a "shadow line" of the (dark) red lense, itself.

Jim,

I received my order yesterday. Thank you. As a suggestion, you might want to lighten up the photos included with the instructions. The photos are so dark that I can not make out any detail. The only thing I can see in them are hands. The instructions seem clear enough, so I guess I won't need the pictures for installation.

I have the same problem, way too dark. I don't think I will have a problem either, instructions seem well written. Now if the day to get the Corvette will ever come - 1 month and counting..............

I just thought they might want to know about the instructions. Of course we could always reference the pictures on their website:

Thanks guys!

Once again, sorry about the instructions being so dark. We have lightened them up.

If you have any questions during the install just give me a call.
