Default Adjustable pedals.

If GM is listening, how about adjustable pedals on the next Corvette. We tall people could sure use a little more leg room, and with all the excess space behind the current pedal location, it would look to be a simple thing.
Just a little rant.

Thats a great idea. I am 6ft 5in tall and that would certainly make things even more comfortable.

I don't have that problem, but I'm sure there are many people that do.

I'm short (5'7") and I'd like them, too. But to bring them closer to me so I could put the seat further back. As it is, my right elbow is constantly fighting with the seat bolster as I move my arm between the steering wheel and the shift lever (MN6)... either that, or move the shifter futher forward some how. :-)

Scott

Lack of adjustable pedals are a problem for the vertically challenged also. In order to get solid, full application of the clutch, I have to have the seat far forward. I am 5'7.5" in height and in order to feel like I can use the clutch well; I feel like I have to move the seat well into the air bag "danger zone." I love the adjustable pedals on my 300C and my former ride: Lincoln LS.

Adjustable pedals would probably be "too heavy" an option for a world class sports car / race car. If you are very tall or very short, you need to get the telescopic steering wheel option. This allows for a lot more flexibility in driving position than otherwise.

Another tip... if you need more leg room, be SURE to wear thin soled shoes! You'd be surprised how much shoes can alter your effective leg room. I now often wear a pair of thin Reebok sneakers, extremely thin bottoms, when driving. The bottoms must be a quarter of an inch thick at best, almost like a slipper. I believe Puma makes a sneaker like this too. Occasionally I will wear a pair of more typical basketball style sneakers with super thick bottoms, easily an inch if not an inch and a half thick... makes a noticeable difference when I get in the car.

Wearing shoes that are an inch LESS in bottom thickness is the same as moving your seat back an inch... so if you need all the leg room you can get, definitely look at the shoe factor.
