As far as look of yellow it isn't suppose to be for cosmetic reasons but that is the color choice that cuts the fog most effectivelly.

I can remember back when CIBIE, Hellas, Marschal all were great headlights with very nice glass like crystal and had certain light patterns like the CIBIE Z-beam?? if I remember correctly. I have some rectangular Hellas left from one of the cars I used to own 26 years ago. I'll have to look around to see if I have some Cibie lights around. All of these were real glass.

The Hella's in my son's Miata are the euro spec. glass lens with the replaceable bulb. Had to have a friend in the local Miata club that flies for AA bring them back from overseas.

In the end, I am glad I replaced the yellow ones. Looks great with the car and I use them more at night for more of a viewing angle.
Oh and I bought mine at Auto Zone(I think) locally.

I just installed these bulbs and I think they are GREAT, they really look like they belong with the HID lights, anyone considering this mod will NOT be sorry you did it.
