Will 18x9.5(C6 offset) aftermarket Z06 wheels fit over C6Z brakes?

Nope, you need the bigger offset of the true Z wheel to get them around the brakes. There was a thread a while back from somebody complaining about the fact that he couldn't get his Z brakes inside his Z repro wheels with standard offsets.

Not true. One of the forum vendors (LAPD or WCC) used an aftermarket wheel the cleared the C6Z brakes and fit within the C6 wheel well. To the best of my recollection it was the 'Z7' style wheel.

yeah, im not not talking about the Z07 wheel.
on the Z06 wheel, is it the front or the rear that binds on the brakes?

im actually wanting to widen the rear and use real Z06 wheels and the repros on the front.

This is a picture of the stock Z06 offset wheels on my car (with 275 wide tire) with stock C6 fenders. The replica Z06 wheels with regular C6 offset that fit the stock fenders would not clear the Z06 brakes.

You might try CCW wheels. They do custom offsets and they can probably do something that would fit what you have in mind.
