What Memory Settings Are Lost With Dead Battery?
When you have a dead battery or simply change the battery, what settings, memory, etc. are lost on the C6? Thanks.

I dont think that the radio settings are effected as I think that GM puts either a capacitor or a battery in the head units.
On my old SS, I had my factory head out for 5 years and put it back in when I sold it...............memory presets were STILL there.

2 battery replacements for me. The only thing I lost was the window indexing.

Had 3 DBS attacks, lost seat and mirrors in 2 of them (strange)
Lost window indexing in one dead battery event.
Radio stayed ok, but lost clock in all 3.

Hold window up button for 3 seconds after window is at top of travel.

Window Indexing and Average mileage on DIC reseted to 0, Average speed went to 0. Radio was fine. Left side of both tires went to 0 PSI but after you drive it for awhile that will automatically reset.

I installed Priority Start (which involves disconnecting the battery) and I only lost the window indexing.
Seat memory, A/C settings, Radio presets, etc, all were fine.

I've had more DBS incidents than I care to remember so installed Optima + Priority Start and out of all the DB's I only lost the window indexing, average fuel mileage and speed. I also put a battery tender on when I know I wont be driving for a while. No problems since.
