Got a knock on the door last night at around 7:15 and it was a neighbor who said he had a strange request from me. He wanted to know if I would let him sit in the Corvette and take some pictures because he will be turning 50 in a few weeks and wanted to send invitations with him in the Vette. I told him that was no problem and I drove it out of the garage and let him sit in it while his wife took some pictures. He was very appreciative.

My wife and I went out for an ice cream the other night and I parked in the safest place I could find out by the dumpster. While we are eating our ice creams we notice one of the employees, a boy about 16 had taken out the trash and was really checking the car out. After snapping a few shots he got out and couldn't thank me enough. He said he loves vettes and wants to own one some day. My wife told him to just keep working hard and some day he will have one too. As we drove off we saw him inside showing all the girls the pictures. He gave us a big wave and yelled out "Thanks so much". I'm not sure who had more fun, we laughed about it all the way home. What a great feeling
