My first problem
Hey guys...I've run into the first problem with my c6 convertable. It has the power top and it jammed half way...half way meaning when the latch was closing it closed when the roof was half way down so the latch fo the tonnue cover hit the glass..I'm pretty sure it scratched the glass and put a scratch in the tops fabric...I sat in the parking lot at work for about 30 mins try to make it go up or down..giving it little tugs and pushes but NOTHING...so I left it at work and got a ride home (it's parked inside the shop at work...I WORK AT VOLKSWAGEN!!! the techs will definetly be laughing at me tomorrow 
)
The car went to the gm dealer this morning because I was having minor problems with it previously. I would have to hit the power top button about 2-3 times for it to fully fold up or down. They said it was a switch and ordered one for me and said it would be about a week before it came in.

HORRIBLE NEWS!!
Well first off we're having a cloudless week and my car is going to be out of commision completely for about a week. I called the local dealer and told them it was stuck half way so they sent out there shop foreman along with a tech. They came up and forced the tonnue cover up and then tried to force it down. In the process of doing this they scratched the top and damaged the lining around the rear window ...they also bent the cover so now it was scraping against the rear trunk lid....I was letting him know that its scrapping and stop messing around with the power button...theres no point in going back and forth with it when its scraping because it was putting scuffs in my paint...he decided to continue doing this until my head almost literally blew off. This is when he realized he needed to back up...after yelling and screaming for 10 mins to get my point across (i was getting no where by just explaining) they finally realized what i was trying to say. They appologized and went back to the dealership I then had a word with the service manager there and he told me he would have a look at the damage when it came in and see what they were going to do about it.
these types of problems come and go but the damage to my top and rear hatch doesn't leave me a happy camper
