Re: 03 Caddy with Northstar (vettemaan)
We are going to see the rear suspension and also the new frame of the C6 under the XLR...at least thats what most mags are saying....Hopefully the C6 will out gun the caddy...and i don't think the vette boys at GM will let the caddy win....this will be the second product to come out of the Bowling Green Plant

Re: 03 Caddy with Northstar (Vette80)
From the rumors I've read the '03 XLR will have a tweaked version
of the 4.6L NS producing ~350HP. For '04 (maybe starting in '05)
it will get a supercharged version of a new NS (4.2L) producing
~425HP. The XLR should weigh about at least 500lbs more than the
C6 and probably have a higher Cd. So even a base C6 with ~400HP
should easily out run it.

I think the Caddy was used as the C6 mule. That's funny when you think about.

Definitely takes its styling cues from the Audi TT, IMO. Impressive HP specs from that Northstar mill, though! :chevy
