Never heard of them, but yes it is very similar to PriorityStart. The remote reconnect is a great idea. If I didn't already have PS installed I'd give BB type III a try.

i have a 12v cooler i plug in and forget to turn off once in a while....
i went though three batteries until i got this unit....
it disconnects the battery at about 12v or so and you have to press the button to reconnect it to start up the car.....
it was the cheapest i could find..... only draw back is that i have to open the hood and press the buton....
