Why do people hate us vette owners so much?
I feel allot of resentment torwards me when I am in my car.
For almost no reason today someone in an suv ford didnt like how slow I was going in a parking lot with speed bumps,and he layed on his horn and pulled up along side me and said speed up as...hl..!!
Just all around me in traffic the behavior is crazy
I think it is envy and they have a crappy life and I should too, so I have no right to be in the vette.
That is my thoughts.

I never really see much negativity, more the opposite actually. I've had a lot of people come up to look at the car & talk to me about it. Driving around, I get a lot of thumbs up & waves.
Occasionally, there are a few crackpots. Sometimes people try to egg me on by riding my ***, even though they might have an open lane next to me. Sometimes the wannabe racers will be a pest & persist a little too hard to get me to drag race when it should be obvious that I have no interest in them. I've had a couple of people get really pissed when I smoked 'em, and have come back after me like we are supposed to be engaged in some extended battle or something. Those reactions are kinda funny to me though.

well there is alot of vette owners that think there s&*t don't stink and always brag about how much they pay for this and that and why there car is so much better than the next and the worst type of vette owner is the one that didn't take first place at the show and can't be a good sport about it,and has to carry on like some little school boy. It's to bad people have to associate all owners like this when in fact not everybody carries on like that.

I haven't had any negative experiences with the Vette yet. I get much more grief in my H2. Especially at the gas pump. Most of the time it's from a guy in a minivan. "It must really suck having to fill that thing up". I started telling them it's a hybrid and gets 28mpg. Usually that shuts them up. I'd imagine its only a matter of time before I run across the same type of person with the Vette. I'm not sure why people think I need their opinion or their acceptance. Because I honestly could care less.

Firstly, I'm sorry you feel you should have a crappy life and have no business being in a Corvette. Unless you bought a car you can't afford and your family is doing without because....you should have no reason to feel guilty for driving a nice car.
Secondly, there will always be a$$holes irregardless of whether you're driving a Vette or a Hundai. Try to not let their problem become yours.
Many people I meet are very nice and compliment my car (or want to discuss what's in that thing). We all get those people that want to blow-off the Vette and try to provoke a race or just get in front of you...at any cost. I had a girl in a BMW Z4 'beating' my car the other day.
It wasn't the time or place nor did I have the inclination to show her otherwise (not much glory in taking a Z4 anyway). She was happy though.
It took a little age and maturity for me to mellow out and it's difficult sometimes but don't let these 'bitter' people bother or provoke you.....that's what they want.
