Default Right or Wrong?

Orderd my coupe 6spdmn Z51 on 1/8/07. I have been searching this site for hours to pass the wait and I have come up with the following conclusion.
#1 CAGS
#2 Bilstiens, will have before car ( wheel hop not an option) also had on my C4 and worked great.
#3 Remove rear Z51 runflats (save for front replacements) and install runflats non Z51 on rear.
#4 Install 4:10's.
#5 Install Corsa touring exhaust ( mostly for better sound).
#6 1/4 mile et's well into the 12s and now we are havin some fun.

Anyone with all are part of these mods talk to me

Just don't get in any hurry to rotate the tires.

Here's my 2 cents

#1 CAGS
Yes good call

#2 Bilstiens, will have before car ( wheel hop not an option) also had on my C4 and worked great.
I would at least try the Z51 suspension out before I spent the money on Bilstiens
#3 Remove rear Z51 runflats (save for front replacements) and install runflats non Z51 on rear.
Won't fit on the front
#4 Install 4:10's.
Sure why not, but not my first choice.
#5 Install Corsa touring exhaust ( mostly for better sound).
Waste of money buy some headers
#6 1/4 mile et's well into the 12s and now we are havin some fun.
Get a tune first then go have fun.

I'd probably drive the car for a while as it came from the factory. Who knows...you might like it.

As long as you swap in a pair of FE1 springs at the same time, you'll be happy.

Congrats. Back tires won't fit on the front.

1. Yes.
2. Don't think you will need it
3. No need
4. Not sure why unless you intend to drag race a lot
5. Exhaust note is a personal preference - check out posts using search - lots of pros and cons with strong reactions to interior noise and resonance. I like Corsas personally cus of no resonance but like the sound of Borlas.
6. Your Vette is already in the 12's.

Agree with suggestion to drive it awhile. Headers, CAI, 160 stat, and (most improtantly) a tune will be your best go-fast investments, IMO.

I did the same type of planning just after I bought mine. It's fun as hell to flip through catalogs and visit websites and "fantasize",if you will, about mods. For me (and I am not even remotely knocking big mods) after driving for several weeks, I realized I didn't want to change anything (well, except some audio components). But again, it was part of the fun to window shop!!!

Yes, you surely have to drive your new car before doing any mods. Who knows if you'll like it as it is?

Defeat the CAGs, then enjoy the car for a while.
