32K is a lot on OEM GY?
I'll be happy to change to Firestone. There are NO authorized Goodyear run-flat repair dealerships in Nevada. I've had three nails removed in the past 2+ years, and each time I cringe when the local boys manhandle the tires and wheels. (On the other hand, I have 32K miles on them!)
How could Firestone service be much worse?

I pulled the trigger on a new set of Firestone tires today. I had them installed early this morning but haven't had a chance to really get a feel of the handling on the freeway (bumper to bumper CA traffic). The ride does feel a lot smoother but they are also new tires and not broken in yet.
Anyway, here is my rant: 10k miles on a set of Supercar Tires is rediculous even if they are performance tires. I didn't even get a chance to really push them to the limit at any time since purchasing my vert last December. It's really hard to justify $1800.00 for a measly 10,000 miles of wear on another set of GY Supercar tires so hopefully these tires hold up a little longer.

11,900 on the GY's! Bought set of the new Firstones ($900) and could not be happier! I think 10-12K miles on a set of $$$$ GY's is complete B.S!
I will let everyone know how much mileage I get out of the Firestones!

Firestone Wide Oval RFT - Dam good tires....
Just had a new set put on last week. These tires are way better than the Goodyears for 1/3 less money! Total cost shipped from TR was $1020.00 and additional $100 for install. They run smoother than the GY tires even when they were new. Car feels like a whole new animal; much more responsive but with smoother transitions when doing side to side maneuvers. The car tracks better in straight line driving and has a slightly smoother ride (less harsh), with way less road noise. They have alot of meat on the tread. very pleased!
PS. I got 18K on my original and second set of GY's; will be extremely pleased if I get same mileage from these!!! time will tell.

Advanced
Recent Firehawk R/F prices for C6 base model
Just got a Quote from my local Firestone Dealer here in Alabama
Fronts- 18"- $208.99 ea.
Rears- 19"- $342.99 ea
Total- $1103.96
Balance, installation, self provided 4 TPS's installation, 4 wheel alignment,
including tax- Total $1397.00.
That sure as heck not much of a savings over the Michelins
Cannot find mileage rating estimates on these Firehawks and thus no pro rating warranty.
I know that some have quoted the lower Tire Rack prices but it's hard to find a tire dealer that I would trust with my aluminum wheel installation.
I do know that the ones I do trust will be pissed that I didn't buy from them, and may charge more for the add ons.
Interested in your experiences.

Almost every recent tire thread on here (there are a lot of them) has a lot of very happy Firestone users. Mine have almost 20,000 miles on them and still have a lot of life left. Quiet, good traction. No complaints,

Just passed over 35k miles with FS run-flats and have more to go! Only issue I have is tires are not as sticky as I would like and seem easier to break loose than the OEM GY's.

I bought a full set for $1013.66, shipping was $74.64, and total is $1088.30. My 19's came in today and probably the 18's tomorrow. I ordered them on July 5. I live in NC and tires were shipped from Midway,GA.

I just put the same tires on mine, about 3 weeks ago, and then put 1500 miles on them, when we took a road trip. I have the same opinion as you. They run smooth and quiet, for a run flat. They respond well, and stick good in curves. Hard to beat these for the $.
