I need to install the jacking pucks I made (hockey pucks and eyebolts on my C6. I am having new chrome wheels installed tomorrow. Do I need to put the car up on ramps to do it or is it possible to reach underneath and do it.
If I'm understanding you correctly, you can just reach under and place the pucks; no need to raise the car to put the pucks on. Again, I hope I'm understandiong you correctly. BTW, I did the same thing...made my own lifting pucks.

I went to install my home made jacking pucks on the C6 today. At the rear I found an area where it appears they go althouth the pucks are not very tight. The front was a different matter. The only areas that looked like the were for lifting were rectangular in shape. As they say, it is very difficult to put a round peg (hockey puck) in a squre/rectangular hole.

Am I missing something here?
Basically, at the four corners, about 8 inches behind the front wheels and 8 inches in front of the rear wheels, there are slots in the frame. The slots measure about 1-1/4" long and 3/4' wide, they are oval shaped. The pucks go into these slots. I use the hockey pucks as well and mine pucks lock into place as tight as can be with a quarter turn. Maybe you're not looking at the correct locations. Get down on one knee and look for the slots. Once you know where they are, you'll be able to install the pucks in seconds just by squatting next to the car and inserting the puck by feel.
