Top Tier Gas
On the top tier gas website they list several gasoline companies. Are any of thier grades from these companies ok to use...or stick to the premium?. Since they are top tier the difference would only be the octane.
And why stick to top tier gas if you only use premium?
Top tier gas only means that ALL of the grades from one vendor contain the cleaners.
I didn't see Exxon or Mobil on the list but I know that Mobil Super has some of the hghest amounts of cleaners making that gas one of best...but thier lower octanes do not have these cleaners...so Mobil overall is not top tier.
Top Tier gass seems like a general guide like the engine check light.
However, I may be wrong? Anyone know more on this?

All 91 (or 89 or 87) octane is the same-- in fact, the gas you buy may not have been refined by that brand-- but the differences are in the additives that are put into the tanker truck at the rack before it's delivered to your local station.
Suggest you use the octane rating recommended by the manufacturer-- at the end of the day, the real differences are pretty much marketing.
