well last night was a chevy appreciation nite so 5 local dealers got to invite 50 or so people to go to the track and do a lap, eat dinner, check out the chevy touring show and go thru the basement to see the privit car collection....oh was it cool. couldn't even imagine the value of them. there where cars over a 100 years old. well got more pics but they not approved yet but here are the ones after the lap when they lined us up on the f1 track...........













and they said no cameras but i had to have proof...look close you will see the viper gts and the red viper rt/10 pace cars...took in the basement!!!

Sweet! THanks for sharing pics.. My first trip to Indy 500 was in '86 and it's also the place where I made my mind up to be a vette owner after walking around all the yellow pace cars all morning.. Indy is an awesome experience..

where we ate they had all the corvette pace cars out as well as the c6r and a spare c6r motor, a cut up z06, jimmy johnsons stock car, dale earhart jr's car, ron fellows edition z, 08 silver coupe with leather wrap, the concept camaro and many others....good nite to say the least

Don't forget how cool the big Corvette caravans were! We had around 100 Corvettes and a police escort for our trip from the north side to the track. In some places people stopped on the freeway to take pictures of us. Memorable, to say the least.
