I've got a really large pic of the stripped down car, but not with the orange to black faded background.

Great job on the process, AV. I'm looking forward to the final installment. I have a quick question for you. How long do you estimate for doing the rear fenders only? Did you do yours solo? I'll be tackling mine alone, most likely.

Rears completed
AV,
Thanks for the write up. I finally got off my duff and installed the rears that CFL painted for me. Your guide helped a ton.
I'll most likely just stick with the rears and skip the fronts. Now to figure out where those two extra screws go.

Thanks for the guide. I've saved it to my desktop here on my PC so I can use it as a reference when I put my rear fenders on in the next couple of weeks.
Gene Culley has already shipped me one fender and all the other parts, and I'm waiting on the second fender, then its on to paint, and after that I'll be slapping them on in my garage.
I ordered my wheels and tires from Discount Tire already, so they should arrive actually before the fenders are painted. My car should have a wide booty in the next couple of weeks, and then hopefully I'll be able tackle the front fenders and nose in the Spring of next year.
It'll probably be the only 2005 Twin Turbo Monterrey Red Wide Body C6 coupe in town. I think that's too long to put on a fender badge.

Got to hand it to you AV. I followed your guide and it was a piece of cake. If it wasn't for your write-up I don't know if I would have tackled it myself. I had no idea it was that simple without seeing it in pics.
I got my wheels from Bob at House of Wheels. I just did the rear so I could fit 345/30-19 Nitto Invo's under my 07 A6 Z51. I went with 275/35-18 Invo's for the front on stock C6 offset wheels. Everything seems to fit great and nothing rubs at all. I had 295's on my 03 Z06 and thought they were wide until I mounted the 345's

Definitely should be a "sticky" and you have totally convinced me that if I ever want to do this, I should find someone to do it for me...
Great Job!

Atomic Vette, PM me your email address. I have some updates w/pics that need to be applied to this tutorial that may save some headaches for others. Thanks for putting it together.
