Hmmm - very odd post
Its been said that if you have nothing good to say don:t say anything at all. It has been my experience that guys that bash others with there key boards are the first ones to clam up when you come face to face , its like that person who gives you the finger going in the opposite direction at 60 mph.I thought you were a bunch considerate people on this forum.I quess not ,im not supposed to have a opinion on my own car , how sad , go back to polishing your cars and reading how fast they are .
The M Roadster costs more than a similarly optioned C6 (okay - maybe your 3LT costs more, but it has way more content), and is slower than a base C6, let alone a Z06 or a Viper. If you truly owned a Z06, you couldn't own a 3LT, could you?
Notice - no bashing at all - but your story sounds like fantasy, and as you said - if you don't have anything nice to say... You definitely shouldn't be saying it on the C6 forum! Glad you had fun with the M Roadster (if you actually drove it), but most everything else rings false.

Let me ask you one thing,did you see me mention anything about a zo6?I talked about a z4m roadster,here are the facts ,333 rwhp equates to 391 hp at crank ,car weighs 3197 lbs.,has a 3.62 rear with 11.1comp.sounds pretty close to a c6 to me .Let see now your a member since jan. 07and im a member since 03 .If you go on zo6.com you will see pictures of my ml03z with 03 emblem blown up 600 times and air brushed ,also ghost flames on sides .Eckler made a video of my car at bradendton speedwayso your the one with a fantasy.Presently i have a 06 c6 a6 ,if you paid attention i compared my c6 with the beemer ,no one elses. Why did u get so bent out of shape .I said that the viper and i were at 50mph when we both down shifted ,we stayed together thru 3rd and part of 4th then he killed me.what part of that do you find un believeable?Don:t you thik your c6 could hang for 1 gear ?you are under rating the beemer,go to {other cars}and see what other members are saying about the 335i thats running in the 12s. and the z4m is faster then that , sorry to break your bubble partner , do your homework .Try not to call people liars, and don:t worry about how many commas i use ,such petty crap.

Today i went to friend of mine who runs a chev, dealership ,i was test driving a z4 m roadster a 06,at a light in front of me was sitting a new viper ,the guy in back of him motioned for him to smoke the tires ,he did so i tried to catch him as many others tried ,i got along side of him at 50mph and we both down shifted ,stayed with him all thru 3rd and most of 4th and then he blew me away ,it was so much fun ,every one was surprised a little beemer 330 hp could last that long ,seat of the pants the beemer is a lot of fun to drive.
Seems to me that you should have stayed in bed.

The US version of the BMW MZ4 is equipped from the factory with the S54B32/US and produces 333HP at the crank - not RWHP 0-60 time is listed at 4.9 sec.
You may want to recalibrate your SOP dyno.
A modded 335i may get to the 12s or even 11s but from the factory this is a fine car but sporting only 300/300 hp/tq and almost 3600 lbs, it isn't going to go 12s. It will hit 0-60 in 5.3

jack, you need to take a step back and think this thru. no one's thinking you're not a vette guy. but lotta people here know specs, and not because they race or rate their cars by car reviews in mags. read johnodrake's post again. all you did was compound some errors you made before. and that's why I'm suggesting you step back and give it another look at what you are saying, how you are saying it, and your facts. that's all, no disrespect intended at all.

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish Jack. I don't know why you wouldn't expect negative reactions from others - not just because of the post and which forum it's on, but more importantly because you broke forum rules (street racing story, posted on C6 forum with no initial mention of a C6), and also because your story contains many items which are either wrong, or misleading.

on the Viper spinning his tires. I seriously doubt it. I had a friend ask me to spin mine on the Vette and I refused. We all know that it is capable, I don't have to prove it and I'd bet the Viper felt the same way. Besides, how did a guy behind him get him to spin them???

Hmmmm... Your profile says you have a 2003 Z06, and you compared the cost of the M Roadster to your 3LT. And I didn't mention anything about commas?? Not only does your original post not really make sense, but your follow ups don't either.
Sorry for being new around here. But at least I express my opinion and stick to facts, not fantasy or conjecture.
But it's all good - I tried not to flame, and pointed out why you were getting nailed by all the responses, and you choose to attack how long I've been on the forum. Good job!
