Well i was like 1500 past an oil change when i got back from my roadtrip to cali. And i was sitting at like 15% left.... so im pretty sure that you want to get it changed before 30% left... i think...

I took my car to have the oil changed at 60% (3.5k miles).
Im not sure but 0% sounds way past red line to me. I think you have however many miles it will be to get you to your dealer left.

There is a reason why the oil life monitoring system screams at you when the life gets that low. The short answer - no more miles. Get the oil changed immediately. Why on earth would you want to risk it?

Sometimes it takes a long time to see the results of not taking proper care of the motor. So who knows what the threshold is. You may already be past that and causing harm. Maybe not. Better safe than sorry I say, and get that oil changed right away before driving it much.

I may be wrong on this but 0% is not dangerous, that's when the computer is telling you it SHOULD be changed. I don't think there's much reason to change it before it gets close to 0%. And I'm sure they've built in a little safety margin in there so that your engine is not going to explode when you pass 0%, your car will be fine

Why take any chances with such an expensive vehicle. Get it changed well before it gets that low. An oil change is not a major expense.
In otherwords, DO IT NOW.

No it won't self destruct. Premature engine wear is a cumilitive effect of not taking good care of it over time. I am not an engineer of course, so I don't know if your pattern is harmful or not however. I wouldn't do that though. Oil changes are cheap & easy to do.
