Default 110 and climbing

Me likey, but when the interior gets to 150 like today, I'm concerned they would melt the seat cover.

I like them, but will wait for someone to install them in Phoenix during July and tell me the interior didn't incinerate.

After you guys brought this question up, we ran a test today. We took our 05 vert and dropped the top. We let it sit out for a hour (85 degrees and sunny), came back and the handle was not even warm, looks like sun light can't make it to the handle, sits so low.

So, we opened the doors, came back an hour later. The handle was warm, not hot. The leather seats were really hot!

Not scientific, but they passed our test!

Any other thoughts or questions, let us know.

PS- We've still got a few sets in stock.
Thanks

We are writing up detailed instructions tomorrow. Basically you just remove the factory U clip. To get to the U clip you need to look at the bottom of the handle, there is a 1" wide opening, the U clip is right inside there. You knock it off the shaft and the handle will come off.

Then you put that U clip onto your new billet handle and slide the handle on the shaft. Thats it, your done.

Total installation should take 5-10 minutes per side. We will post instructions and photos as soon as we finish them.

Thank you for your interest.

Here in TX it gets rather hot and I've cooked my palm once or twice on my MN6 shifter's aluminum top on my cars black interior.

We thought that too. So we developed these, when you grab them you can feel the difference, not to mention how much better they look compared to stock. They really look nice with billet door sill plates too.

I had a aluminum gear shift **** in my last car and on hot summer days I needed a glove on to use it... Since these(handles) are located down between the seat and door vs in the sun like a gear shift **** might be, they should not get as hot.

You are right, We had the C6 out today, here in Ohio. It hit 90 and the sun was hot! We had no problem with the handles. They didn't even get warm.

The sun cannot get to them because they sit so low.

P.S- All orders thus far will ship on Monday. Thanks for the orders!

Hmmm, let me guess, Honda? What's crazier than that is they offer an all titanium ****, at least mine was surrounded by some flimsy leather but that **** if hot enough I swear could brand your palm with a standard H.
