Great avatar, but you missed a spot.

You need to cover the clear floormat covers.

Keep one thing in mind if you cancel.
The selling dealer of the warranty will recieve the refund monies due on the contract. There is a $45.00 cancellation charge and then thigs get a little murky. You would think you would get the remainder but some dealers will try to keep their commission out of the refund amount. They get charged back their selling commission and may try to recover the lost amount out of the refund due you.
Not that this will happen to you but beware and do the numbers and not just accept the check. Once you cash it...............................

I bought a GMPP on my '04 Z06 a while ago.
I did not receive any paperwork of any type to verify I am covered.
I bought from a supporting dealer here.
Is it normal to not get any paperwork ?

I'd have done the same thing in your situation.

Refund money can be assigned 3 different ways. Selling dealer, customer or finance institution of which the latter is the only way they will refund if you still owe money on the car. I cancel policies every day for my customers and have yet to ever receive a refund back. I always request it go to the customer and I simply ask them to waive the cancellation fee.

I know there are probably dealers that try what was stated but I am not one of them.

You should have received a warranty card and supporting information. Only took a few weeks to receive mine. I looked on GMPP's website but it said to contact your selling dealer if you need assistance. I would definitely call your dealer and make sure you actually are covered since you paid for it. Good luck.

Thank you jimmie jam and sabooher....

I called the purchasing dealer and he gave me a # to call.
He said I definitely should have received some paperwork.
The offices are closed now, but I will call them tomorrow.
BTW.... the dealer checked my status, and my warranty is in effect.

No problem. Glad the warranty is in effect for you so all it seems you need is just the card and papers. Personally I just put all that stuff in my filing cabinet with other paperwork because everything should be tied to the VIN that any Chevy dealer can look up.

Screw the extended warranty. It is not worth it. Keep the money. But hey this is coming from a guy who modded the crap out of his car.
