06 Z51 Lower than Base Suspension?
I just bought an 06 Coupe with the Z51 suspension package and was wondering if it is lower than the base suspension?

Ride height is set by locating the lower control arms in relation to the frame rails.
The z51 packages is not lower than the base suspension. Just sprung stiffer, coming with stickier tires and a bit lower gearing in the transmission is the car is MN6

It is when the information is correct which is not the case here.
The Z51 recommended trim height is in fact lower than the base or F55 cars. When measured from the Z or D trim height locations it is a millimeter lower. Whatthat translates to in ride height from the ground to body I am not sure but I would guess somewhere between 1/8" and 1/4" lower if measured at the fender or other body location.
