Washington Av. Carlstadt, N.J. A company called, THE PRINTING POST. A day all true Americans will never forget. I say TRUE because there are those among us that could care less, unfortunately. Anyone voting for the Benghazi bitch cares very little for their country. JMO

Active duty Air Force stationed in Hawaii, was on temporary duty in San Antonio attending simulated training for an upcoming mission. When we walked into the training 'facility' that morning, there was a TV in the lobby with the news on showing the planes hitting the towers. At first we all thought it was part of the simulated training, then we were told it was live/real ...

Yes it does for some of us while others seem to forget.. I remember the wife saying how our country came togeother so tight the weeks following.. I said to her that wont last long and it didn't... Even an event like that can't make this country bond togeother permanently.

Running a "grizzly" with a 966 loader in Fontana Ca by the raceway.
And now today what with watching what this phony in the WH has/is doing makes me sick to my stomach, and he has a 50%+ approval rating, you tell me if we forgot

I was flying from Cape May to Leesburg in my Mooney. I saw the smoke rise from the Pentagon while on downwind to land at Leesburg Executive. I didn't know what it was until after I landed..... That sight is burned into my memory forever

I remember the flags everywhere, and red white and blue pins made from beads. Now we have people who refuse to stand for the anthem.

I was up early, getting ready for work on the west coast. Watched it unfold on tv. I remember the chaos and confusion, and the whole country shut down for the week.

I remember being glad that GWBush was president, and not Gore.

If I think about it too much, I start to cry.

I dropped my son off at school that morning and boarded a Delta flight headed to my office in NYC. My aunt had passed away of cancer on the preceding Saturday and I had stayed for her funeral service on Monday. That week I flew out on Tuesday morning instead of my usual Sunday flight. I had moved a meeting originally scheduled with Verizon and Inter-Tel for Tuesday morning down by the WTC until Thursday afternoon so I could attend in person. She had been very ill for months and there was no good reason she made it until that Sat, but because she did, it probably saved my life. As I mentioned, I dropped my young son off at school and proceeded directly to the airport where I boarded my flight for NYC. He watched it unfold on TV at school and in his young mind, his dad was on one of those planes because that is where I was going when I told him goodbye that morning. We will never forget...

I was on a Southwest flight that left Louisville and we landed in St. Louis.
Thought it was strange when we landed that F16's were out by the runway fully armed and with pilots in the cockpits.

Walked down the jetway with one of the Southwest pilots and he was telling me that one of the WTC buildings had been hit with a plane.
As we walked into the terminal the second one hit. It made me both sick and angry.

I have never forgotten

I couldn't read past Page 1, and went to this, the last page only to read the posts of Bobby, John D., Jim, Billy, etc. I lost some former colleagues that day. We, as a country, truly lost our innocence because we can never think again that "it can't happen here." Not after all those American lives, on American soil were taken.

But, unfortunately, to an extent we, or some of the Americans in this country do not remember, and do not understand what happened. That is more than just sad-it is stupidity and callousness of the worst kind and type. It's my opinion of course, but I know I'm not wrong on that one.

I was at my mountain log home in the Rockies about 50 miles outside of Denver. We were two hours behind ET so it was 7:30 am and I was watching Fox news when it began.

I was on a road trip in Indiana not far from home and heard it on the radio....turned back immediately. I remember thinking...... when will the other shoe drop? tomorrow, next week ...when? And yeah, when did Americans stop standing for the National Anthem....it's disgusting. And, if you are a legal immigrant, don't you have to take an oath of allegiance to your new country? Maybe the entire country should renew our oath because some of us can't remember the pledge of allegiance!
Sorry just couldn't jump off the bandwagon.
