I was looking at the Chevrolet website to see what options are available on the 2002's and it doesn't list mag wheels.I really like the mag wheels on my 2001 DBGM coupe, but I can buy a 2002 at a discount so I was considering buying a 2002. Is this just an omission or did GM discontinue mag wheels as a factory option?

That's correct. 2001 was the last year for the magnessium wheels.
