Default Gsu?

Worth a shot.

I am looking for a GSU supplier id#? Does anyone have any spares?

Long story short here, my wife is in the market for a new car. Sadly not a vette. She is looking at the Chrysler Pacifica and the Buick Enclave.

I much prefer the Enclave, and that it is GM. She is leaning towards the Pacifica.

I am hoping with a GSU# in hand, I can convince her that we are getting a better deal with the Enclave, and sway her.

In fact I know it will, as she is the responsible spender on our team, and that will appeal to her sense of fiscal responsibility.

Thank you in advance.

I have to say, my family loved the Pacifica. I thought it was just OK, but I wanted more power.

The Nav is light years better than the GM

I had a 2005 Pacifica Touring AWD (company car). I drove it 60,000 miles in 2 years with very few problems. My only real beef with it was that the small light bulbs that provide the backlighting for the stereo and A/C controls burned out and CANNOT be replaced as they're soldered directly to circuit boards. The only way to replace the dead bulbs is to replace the entire control unit. As a result, mine stayed dark.

The 2008 (and 2007, for that matter) is considerably better than my 2005 in that it has a 6-speed automatic (mine had just a 4-speed) and a larger, more powerful engine.

One other thing...

Since you're already looking at the Pacifica and the Enclave, go check out the Hyundai Veracruz. (Don't laugh.) It's a very strong contender in this segment. Just look at one - I think you'll be surprised.

If exterior looks are any way to judge them I just saw a VeraCruz on the road. I'd look at it as a potential competitor.

Good to hear.

One problem with the Hyundai VeraCruz...it's a Hyundai.

Sorry to sound like a snob.

Besides, I am US MFR loyal, more specifically GM when i have the choice. You can bombard me with all the stats you want, but as a business owner in the US, I appreciate all the business I get, and make an effort to return the favor domestically.

A little better quality though. I loved the Yugo. Two for one at only 5995 near the end. When one broke down you just gave it to Goodwill and drove the other until died. Some never even made it home from the dealership before they died

Default Try Here

Try to get one here. It's where I got mine. Better move fast, the offer is scheduled to expire at the end of this month. I haven't heard anything about it being extended, but it has been once. Good luck.

Default How It Works

When I applied for the certificate, this is the explanatory message I received. Afterward I was sent the certificate number.

The discount program that enables this discount to be applied to you is
known as the "GM Supplier Discount for Friends". It contains a nine digit
code with a three letter suffix of "GSU" [GM Supplier Program]. The entire
twelve alphanumeric string must be given to the dealer for the deal to be
processed.

Your Certificate number is good for 6 months from the date of issue. If you
decide this month [JUNE] that you are not going to use this certificate
within 6 months or you get a better deal without the certificate, then email
me back for I can get the certificate re-issued to someone else this month
since we are limited to 1 per month per employee .If you are unsure, just
keep the certificate and we hope you enjoy shopping. To check you price,
goto www.gmfamilyfirst.com, select “Vehicle Shopping” and when the drop down
box appears, scroll down to “Supplier Pricing” and follow the prompts.
At times you may get a better deal by negotiations. The certificate just
makes it hassle free. Be aware that
some GM card earnings can't be applied to this discount. So it is better to
know your price when heading
into the deal so you you can decide wich course to take.

Thank You for considering a GM product. If you browse the below information
and wish to help reward the employee who authorized this certificate, please
feel free to. Participation in the program discussed below is independent of
the Certificate that you requested and does not prevent you from enjoying
your applied discount to the vehicle of your choice.

General Motors Corporation is offering a incentive program to it’s EMPLOYEES
that will reward the Employee’s efforts for assisting prospective customers
in their quest to obtain a GM product. The Incentive program is called
AMBASSADOR 2 and it allows the Employee to earn 100 reward dollars for each
Referral that purchases a GM product. Each Employee can earn a maximum of
1500 reward dollars that can be used towards a purchase / lease of a GM
product.

Each Referral must own / lease a Non-GM vehicle that is less than 20 years
old and their purchase will either replace this Non-Gm vehicle or the
purchase will reside alongside this Non-Gm vehicle. The Referral may also be
a first time GM product buyer.

Email the requested infomation back to me [I will place the referral to the
employee who authorized your certificate] BEFORE purchasing the product for
a valid referral.

The Referral process has the Employee input the following information into
the GM system which causes a slew of brochures to be mailed your way about
the product you are interested in and to initiate the referral process:

Name [Needed]
Address [Needed]
City [Needed]
State [Needed]
Zip [Needed]
Email
Daytime Phone
Evening Phone
Gm product currently looking at [Needed]
When are they buying in months
Did you own a non-Gm vehicle
Vehicles currently in the Household

BEFORE you purchase and if you would like to help out the Employes with this
program and you meet the above criteria, please feel free to send back the
required information and again we THANK YOU for shopping GM and lending your
assistance to us..
