Default C5 wheels on a C6

I know somebody has posted about this topic in the past 3 years the new c6 has been out...

will c5 wheels work on a c6? i want to put my iforged aero's on a c6 if i decide to purchase one. i've seen a few pics of ccw 505a's on a c6 which were made for a c5 and they stick out. usually ccw's stick out a little bit anyway even on a c5.

i can't find anything when i search for offset's and what not!!!

Aside from the obvious size differences the offset for the rear wheels is also different from the C5 to the C6. The front offset is the same.

C6 non Z06

Front 18 x 8.5, +56 mm offset
Rear 19 x 10, +79 mm offset

C5

Front 17 x 8.5 +56mm offset
Rear 18 x 9.5 + 63mm offset

The bolt pattern should be the same at 5x120mm

Since they are iForged, can't you just send them back and have the offsets changed for the C6? Isn't that one of the perks for a 3 piece wheel?

Yes they will fit. They will just have a little more aggressive stance. I have c5 wcc wheels on my c6. They do not rub at all and I have mine lowered with wcc lowering bolts. The rear offsets are 65mm. The only issue you have is that you can't put real wide tires on the wheels. My rear wheels are 20x11 and could take up to a 325 tire. I have 285's on there and could probably go to 295 but that would be it. The fronts are about the same on a c5 and c6.

If the C6 has the Z51 option with the bigger rotors an OEM C5 17" front wheel won't fit. If you're Aero's are at least 18" then they should be fine.
