Default Those with Interior Trim Console

I'm thinking about replacing my Interior console and wanted to know if everyone installs their own or do they have dealer install them? Thanks.

I wouldn't trust the dealer to SELL me a center console, let alone install it.

Check out the TKO options. It's pretty easy to install.

I had the dealer install mine since there was a core exchange charge and I have a tendency to break things. It cost me $80 + $20 tip for the installer dude and it was done in an hour.
Here's mine from TKO:

I did mine myself. It's too easy to do yourself to risk a dealer screw up.

I put an 08 console in my car. I did it myself with some help from Armyyellow05 who had previously put an 08 in his car.

I did my own. About an hour to do the dash and another hour to do the console. Take your time with the switches.

I did it myself for the '07 Z06 and will do the same for the '06 Coupe as soon as the parts get here from West Coast Corvettes. Hardest part for me was getting the cigarette lighter and power receptacle removed.

I've done it so many times I can swap the center console out in 15 minutes flat.

Actually, price being equal or even kinda close, I would prefer to buy my parts from my selling dealer. Why? You get to see the part and if there are any defects etc. you dont take it and the dealer orders another one. Went thru 3 flawed body colored license plate frames at my dealer before I got a perfect one. See how that works mail order and with its shipping back and forth costs.

it's easy if you know about the two screws behind the emerg-brake boot.
