I was talking to my friend and he wants to sell his 2000 C5 Vert, but if the C6 doesn't go up in horsepower there is no point in selling his car.

I would like to give him a rough estimate of power and when it will come out.

Any good sources of info I can give my friend???

Expect 400hp on "base" models, and you should see it probably sometime mid-year 2003 to early 2004.

According to Autoweek it will arrive in 2004 as a 2005 model.

It's hard to say now that Lutz is driving GM. I expect we'll see in the next couple of years.

You can rest assured that the C6 will have a good bit more power than the C5. I bet Scorp is about right in his estimate.
