Default 2LT Package

I was looking at the Chevrolet Build & Price web page and did not see the SIDE IMPACT AIRBAGS mentioned in the 2LT package. Does anyone know if this was removed?

According to the chart below, the side impact airbags are still part of the 2LT package:

Secondtimer, you are right, it doesn't mention the absence or inclusion of side airbags in the Chevy "build and price" section. (You would think they would include this as it is a pretty important decision item)

It does however specify how they are configured in the main Corvette feature list .............
http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette/features/

The following is taken from that page:
Side-Impact Air Bags

Side-impact air bags(1) for the driver and front passenger are standard on convertible and available on coupe and Z06. Side-impact air bags are designed to help reduce the risk of head injuries to occupants on the near side of certain side-impact collisions. It's standard on convertible and available as part of the 2LT, 3LT and 4LT Preferred Equipment Groups (PEGs) for coupe and the 2LZ and 3LZ PEGs for Z06.

And Facard-C6's list above makes it even clearer.

That was one the the reasons I wanted the 2LT package on my 08 coupe. Side air bags are located on the side of the sports seats which are included in the 2LT, 3LT and 4LT trim levels.

Ditto here. Besides being a vital safety item, most insurance companies give a small discount for having them.
