I want to put my name and deposit down as soon as possible for the new C6. Anyone know when the soonest a person can and where?

I put my Down Deposit on a C6 Z06 last June. A good Vette Dealer will take your depo now. Make sure you go to a Dealer who sells a lot of Vettes.

I can go down to the dealer I have had great luck with (Ramp Chevy) here on Long Island and put in a deposit today. The sales help there is great now .

I would also love to do that, but with doing that do you:
have to take the first one that comes, or can you choose?
can you specify MSRP, or dealer invoice now?
can you choose the options when it comes time?

Any thing you guys can tell me about this would be great, I just don't want to do it and be stuck with a white vette(sorry personal preference)!!

No I do not have to take the first one that comes along . I have the right to chose and completly spec out the options and colors I would want .

Can not specify the MSRP or dealer invoice as of now but you do have the first right of refusal when the price becomes available.

Great Last question then, how much of a deposit would you consider safe to put down?

The dealer I mention wants $500 to put down . I think thats fair since I have the right to refuse and have it returned to me .

Looks like in the next few weeks I'll be heading down to my local dealer to see if I can muster up the same deal!!!!! C6 here I come
