I changed mine to white bulbs. My state allows yellow or white front turn signals, so the white color should be fine.

Make sure you put in bulbs that are rated to be used as DRL's, or you'll be replacing them often.

Side note: the C6 headlights are ultra-white/bluish-white, so even if you install the white bulbs in the turn signals, they still look *slightly* yellow when you see them next to the powered-on headlights. (but still look better than the 'full' amber bulbs, in my opinion)

Cheers,
Kent

replaced them with stealth chrome bulbs (so there's no egg-yoke when off) but they're still amber when on.

I have a black coupe, I put the stealth bubs in. Looks great when off and the same when on.

Quick cheap mod tip: Get high temp silver spary paint and dust a few coats on the stock amber bulbs. They will be invisible. I purchased the stealth bulbs first, one broke so I did the above mod. Works and looks exaclty the same. Did it about a year ago, no problems.

I like the amber DRLs. It's really cool to see a long line of Vettes with the amber DRLs. It's what sets us apart.

You are a guy with great taste!! Mine looks exactly like that! All Hail Stealth Bulbs and : egg yolk!! Now all you need is a Racemesh Tuxedo Back Grill and we will have twins!

Not me. I hated that amber DRL look so much that I permanently disabled my DRL's! I then got Stealth Bulbs to totally eliminate the egg yolk bulb look.

I used to get them at eautoworks.com but they dont have the PIAA 3157 bulbs there anymore for some reason. They have some other brand I've never heard of before.

If you do replace the DRLs/turn signals, do make sure your state allows something other than yellow. Many don't.

Thanks for the links HELLS.

How can I find out if my state (NJ) allows me to do this or not?
