Hehehe....pretty funny. So funny I won't even respond. Are you saying that if you leave your fob on the seat, and close your door, you can open your car? Why don't you drive about 10 miles away from home, and away from your second set of keys, and try it.
Or better yet, why don't you move on to another thread....

YES
once again, AS LONG AS A FOB IS INSIDE THE CAR (except trunk area) ANYONE CAN WALK UP TO YOUR CAR, PULL ON THE DOOR AND IT WILL OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!, 10 miles 10,000 miles away from the home.
I have a better idea, start the car, leave both remotes in the house.......go drive 10 miles away from home, shut the car off and see.

Well, you must have a 'special' C6, because it didn't work with mine. Actually, in all fairness, when my episode occurred, the fob was on the passenger seat and it slid off into the side next to the passenger door; and no, it definitely did not open.
But that really isn't the point of this thread. Fact is, as far as the orginal cell phone idea, I tried it tonight and it seemed to work for me. I have nothing personal to gain from this, and I'm not selling anything. If you have nothing further to add to the thread, why not move on?

'Course, locking the key in the car means nothing because the fob never leaves my personage.

This urban legend has been going around for quite some time. It's been posted here on the forum before. You're are correct about one thing...'I won't believe it.' Then as now, it's a myth.
