Your prayers are needed please.....
I have just learned that my brother who is 72 has lung cancer. It is in the very lowest part of his lung and it appears that it has not spread. The Dr. says that they can remove that part of his lung and he should be fine but I am asking for everyone’s prayers and positive thoughts for him. My father died when I was only 12 years old so my brother has been a father figure to me my entire life and needless to say we are very close. I have six sisters and only one brother so this is very upsetting to me. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers at this time.

I wish you, him, and your family all the best. Fight it with all ya got. My wife had an adenocarcimona pelvic tumor of unknown origin, diagnosed in March 04. She had been through a lot fighting it, but is doing alright. It came back in her liver a year ago, and she had more surgery. It is back again, but appears to be very slow growing based on scans.
Bottom line is make the most of every day, fight it with dignity, and hope and pray for the best possible outcome. The rest is in God's hands. All of you will certainly be in my prayers. TDB

Rick,
We have never met but at times like these I encourage you to persuade your brother to do everything medically that can be done and also get him to a church that believes in divine healing. I have learned that regardless of our faith level-God is merciful and acts on behalf of people who call upon him in time of need.
I will also be praying for him!
