Reverse lights - 50w vs. LED vs. stock
I've used this type of bulb before (1156 version) and it is a lot brighter
however... i think it needs a little bigger wire that comes straight off the battery (like the older cars) - the BCM might not be sending enough juice to light it up correctly.... did not take a voltage reading
the 50w bulb is a little brighter (than stock) at night lighting up the road (not much though)
the LED is dimmer at night lighting up the road
The LED is very bright if you are looking at it even from a very far distance
well for me its back to the LED's
also thinking of new plates
Stock bulb - 50w Halogen - 3w end plus 10 side LED's
Stock on left - 50w Halogen on right (hard to tell in this picture same color as stock)
LED on left - 50w Halogen on right
LED on both sides

I have LEDs in my reverse lights and license plate lights. All I can say is there is a notable difference in visible brightness when compared to stock. I can't say thay they produce any more light on the ground however.
Has anyone thought of putting in HID reverse lights?
Where did you get those multi-LED bulbs?
