Bought my '07 coupe in March'07. MSRP was $48,540 ( plus approx. $2000 extra in aftermarket goodies). I paid $ 41,500. It is a black on ebony LT1, Z51, 6spd manual, chrome wheels, GM Performance exhaust, tinted windows, sealed paint, 793 miles (original owner had it 3 months and brought it back to the dealer wanting a
Z06). Car now has 13,000 trouble-free miles on it.

For an 06 M6 VY (extra for that), 3LT with NAV, Door sills, body color engine covers, Body color door handles, Alum wheels, I paid about 53k for it.
Then I got an extended warranty for 6 year, 72k miles.
Then there was the powder coated brakes, the Llyod Mats including the truck with logo, Z06 spoiler, letter inserts for the rear and a full Zaino package with a large supply of microfiber towels.
And the Valentine one with remote display.
And the bullets and Vararam.
I think by the time I was done, I was at about 60k.
I know I over paid for the extended warranty.
Didn't know then.

The paperwork is in the car, but I think it listed for about $56,000 and got GM employee pricing at about $47,500. I may adjust these figures later today. It is a 2008, 3LT, loaded, Z51, etc.
Interesting....

My son took courtesy dealer a month ago from one of our big forum supporting dealers on a 3LT coupe stickering at $55075. Courtesy delivered price was $48400 less $1000 GM rebate for a final cost of $47400. This is well below invoice. There is no reason in today's market to be paying invoice or above for a corvette.

I had a friend ask me what I paid for my Corvette. I told him I paid too much for a "car", but way too little for all the fun I am having driving a Corvette "Supercar"!

Bought my '07 VY Vert (3LT, Z51, Nav, Paddle) in May of '08 with 36 miles on it.
Sticker was $65, dealer was asking $55 minus another $5k in GM incentives.
They want to get rid of the '07s before the '09s show up....or they crashed it, fixed it, and didn't tell me....but it runs perfect.
