Default Need good Body Shop Dallas/ Fort Worth

Well after reading some post about not using an e-brake I always make sure mine is set! This morning I was in the garage tinkering with the adjustment on the boot to the e-brake and shifter I just got from DSVettes. Trying to get the folds where I like them. When I finished I came in the house to shower. Went out to the garage and hit the opener then I realized the car was against the door! SO here is the damage. I want a good Paint and body shop that can make it look new. I figure I will have to repaint the entire rear facia. It will also need some body work because it gouged it in a few spots! How hard is the facia to remove? I figure I will remove and take it to the shop.

I would recommend caliber collision on 7th St downtown FW. They repaired my friends 7 Series BMW and the new and OEM paint looks exactly the same, down to even the orange peel texture matching. I was impressed.

I've had body work done by Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson and they did a good job.

Let me know if I can help in anyway. I work at best in show collision in garland. Corvette's and other high end cars are nothing new to us. We sponsor the north texas viper club, and regularly have a shop full of vipers. Currently have a nice White with blue stripes 05 Ford GT in the shop having the front bumper fixed.

Considering the number of high-end cars of all different makes in for repair at Huffines Cheverolet in Plano I'd say go there.

These guys do good work. ^^^^

Stuarts paint and body --- Very good work but no matter what Doug tells you it will take forever.

Another really good place is Complete Auto body Arlington -- 817-795-2770 -- This shop looks a little rough but I can assure you they do first rate work.

Sorry for the terrible phone camera pictures but this is some of Completes work on my car. Notice they matched the exterior JSB perfect on the box.

So where did you end up going? Does anyone have any experience with Classic Chevrolet's (Grapevine, TX) Body shop on a Corvette?

Hey there, Saginaw here too... I am in the car business, and have a specialist in the paint department. Let me know if I can help.

FYI I've had cars repaired at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. One was a red C6 with slight damage to corner of front fasia so of course the whole front fasia had to be replaced. Also had a silver door skin replaced on a Lexus. Both came out perfectly and have lasted. They are my go-to body shop.
