I have been out of a vette for a year or so, and it's calling once again. I have not really been keeping up with them, and just started looking yesterday so really have no idea of what a good/bad price for one is at this time.
I talked to someone today about this one. Is this a decent price?
Start at 27k and negotiate from there. Not only is it used, but its a 2005 with 22,000 miles. Leverage this info as it is very difficult to sell used cars these days. Also make sure the TSBs and recalls have been performed before you purchase. Good luck
The local Chevy dealer sold my 2005 DSOM Z51 trade in (with 21,800 miles) for $32,500, an hour after I dropped it off. I guarantee it was in the same or better shape than this one because it was like new. I traded two months ago, and it had all new tires. I think you can get them down to $30,000.
Wow I guess market is much better where you guys are looking and well I think that price is low.
I almost went and looked at this one but it was bit far out of my way. But that is a 3LT Nav Z51 I think the market hasnt brought these down to 27k as of yet.

3Lt Nav Z51.. again I have been away for a bit. Is that considered all the goodies?
Pocket Aces.. I saw that pic as well, and thought the same thing. If they are in fact chips I dont want it, but it occured to me it might be some sort of odd reflection. That will be the first question I ask.
they are working on a number for a 330CIC I am trading and we are goign to go from there.
Guy just posted a new thread on here today. Same car, loaded, less miles. Wants to trade for '08Z06. Dealer wants to give him $27K for his car. That means your car, from the dealer is worth a couple grand more. Say $30K max, and if you get it for $29K, you both made out well.
Didn't see the pics, too hard to scroll, but if it's got hood damage, subtract $1K, imo.
As to cost of cars down there vs. Conn., truthfully, cars are stagnating sales everywhere. If you buy a car today vs. even 2 months ago, it's a whole new world.

I saw that thread and quickly checked his profile.. it was Red, and I want Black
check some used car sites... must go to ::: autotrader.com
stay away from ebay... if you are buying used from a dealer, you will get a better price at a vette dealer with a large turnover, seller of many vettes..... find out how they got the car, from where.... was it in a flood or hurricane... was it auctioned? did it come in as a trade on a newer car? is it a lease return... if a repo, stay away...... try to find something with a factory warranty still valid....
3 months ago i paid $34K for my 3LT 05 coupe. No NAV, no Z51, but only had 6,040 miles, it was local, so no travel/shipping expense, with all the criteria i was looking for in a Vette (color, transmission, options, etc..). Three months ago this was a fair deal considering condition of the car.
...might be a reference point. Even though the car u have in mind has NAV and Z51, I wouldn't pay $33,995 for it since it has 22,500 miles.
