OK I just got a 2005 A4 and I was babying it on the GSP.. speed was between 60-70 mph AC on and I only got 24.x In this thread I've seen some M6 get over 30 on the highway but also have seen some A4 & A6 get around 30 mpg on the highway... can someone explain the big difference...

Default 2008 c6 - z51 - a6

Here's mine: 16.3 mpg

City: 12 mpg when it's not 11 mpg.
Highway @ 55mph : 28 mpg, @ 65/75 : 22 mpg

Best mileage is when I switch to S mode and put the 6th gear ASAP.

Vette has 6700 miles on it and is my DD.

Commuting from 07632 to Jersey City, NJ => 17 miles of commute on average.

Best ever was 31.2 mpg. Average driving to work daily is 25.7ish. If I have to take the side streets it drops to 19.6mph.

2007 Z06 with 11K miles. I get about 26.5 - 28 mpg on highway averaging 73 mph. Going to work I get 16-18 mpg depending upon how often I use the overdrive gears. If I stay in 4th, it will drop down to 14-15 mpg.

I haven't really paid attention to mine too much. I know on the highway I can go about 500 miles which is enough for a 436 hp car. Mine isn't driven in the city unless I get stuck in traffic on my cruises.

20.5 - 21.0 average for my first 3000 miles as a DD commuter. That is at an average 28-31 average speed reading on the DIC.

By log I am averaging just under 21 mpg.

When I drive strictly highway it goes to 32+ mpg, but that is rare here.
