OK I just got a 2005 A4 and I was babying it on the GSP.. speed was between 60-70 mph AC on and I only got 24.x In this thread I've seen some M6 get over 30 on the highway but also have seen some A4 & A6 get around 30 mpg on the highway... can someone explain the big difference...

2007 Z06 with 11K miles. I get about 26.5 - 28 mpg on highway averaging 73 mph. Going to work I get 16-18 mpg depending upon how often I use the overdrive gears. If I stay in 4th, it will drop down to 14-15 mpg.
07 Z06 18.1 overall, mostly in town
24.7 on 500 mile trip w/DIC average 79.8 AVG
about 28 at steady 70
3.5 at an Autocross event

I haven't really paid attention to mine too much. I know on the highway I can go about 500 miles which is enough for a 436 hp car. Mine isn't driven in the city unless I get stuck in traffic on my cruises.
