So let me get this straight................They can't sell off the 2008's they have on the lots...........their giving huge discounts...........they are closing down for a week in Ocotber and then laying off workers to manufacture less cars/day.....and now they increase the base cost by $1500.00!!!!!!!!!! What am I missing here??????????????? Who's in charge here????? I hoping for a very logical explanation............I am at a loss.

2009 prices now make discounted '08s look just that much better.
My 2008 was an early production when the base price was still $45k and then the GMS discount and all that. I would not have looked at GM for any vehicle if the corvette didn't come down this low. I figured if I ever wanted to own one, better just get it.
