Default Auto dimming rearview mirror ?

I don`t know if my automatic dimming rearview mirror is working. The light on the mirror is on indicating its activated but I see no difference in it when I turn it off. I seem to be getting more glare from cars behind me then I remember having before.Do they have some kind of fuse I could check or can it be tested to see if there is a problem with it?

I would think the auto-dimming and the indicator light would be on the same circuit. If the indicator is lit, the auto-dimming is probably working. It does take a couple of seconds for the bright lights to dim. I don't think you'll see any difference when turned off until some lights hit it.

I'm sure you would know if it's working. Mine is very obvious.

Check the fuse in the passenger footwell. It is labeled:

ISRVM/ HVAC

This will cover the Electric Inside Rearview Mirror,
Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning. Does your HVAC seem to funtion normally?

mine tends to do...very little, and very late. while steady headlights are shining at me, it will go from dark to light! and it will cycle like this occasionally with mostly not "on" being its default position.

yes (or no) mine isn't working properly, but my a/c is!
