Melting Slicks
here is another option...
i run stock wheels and stock size , but the tires are kumho's..they are slightly wider than the GY supercars that came stock...almost a 1/2" wider in the rear...if you are not concerned about not using a run flat..i am very happy with the kumho's , soft, sticky, and a little wider with no issues at all...save the cost of wheels ,,and replace my kumho's more often..
good luck on your choice..

How to get in touch with Tire Rack Forum Sponsor?
Hey guys,
Does any one know how to get in touch with the Tire Rack Forum Sponsor? Whats his/her contact info? I have some questions about achieving the optimal tire contact patch on the stock 19"x10" rear rims as I am in the market for new rear tires. I appreciate any help!

I'm sorry guys to revive this old thread but didn't want to open a new one for the same topic.
Thing is I researched a couple of months ago wider tires for my C6 base and bought
265/35/18
295/30/19
but now I'm searching info again and can't find this combo anywhere
will I have any issues if I mount those tires on my car???

Isn't the corvette forum a search? I always thought when you posted a question on the forum you were searching for answers.

which you will find that many people on here have done.
However, most find that those sizes work a lot better when they are on wider than stock wheels.
The sizes you have may technically work, but that rear tire is more than 3% shorter than stock, and the front tire may feel a little loose on a stock 8.5" wide rim.
A better option on stock wheels (if going wider than stock tires) is:
255/35/18
295/35/19

whats the offset on the rims?

Thanks for your help. Many searches resulted in finding they would not fit or stick out. Now someone who was slightly more helpful posted pics for me.
Why does everyone always assume people don't do a search? Do you have to start each post with 'already did a search, need more help'?

Agree, agree, agree. Search is not always that helpful . For folks that are offended by a repeat question, I wish they would just refrain from responding. Thanks to all that choose to be civil and helpful.
