It was one of my favorite Corvette events that I've been fortunate enough to attend so far. The event combines a gathering of Corvettes, and the history of U.S. Lexington, with a program that raises funds and pays homage to our military personel. Who could turn down an opportunity like that.
The U.S. Lexington has been permanently moored on the gulf coast at Corpus Christy, TX. and has been converted into a museum. The Corpus Christy Corvette club put the event together in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project.
