Way too much drama....they slashed your pay and benefits, and you posted last week that you were laid off. Now, you're right back with the folks who "canned" you? Strange indeed.
As we all know times are a little different now and require different approaches to achieve your goals. What went on with me last week was just that and thankfully it worked out for me. Some times after you lose something you realize its worth. I am sorry for the drama and upsetting to boat but again it has all worked out and let’s get back to selling Corvettes.
Good news. These are difficult times, we all need to do whatever it takes to care for our families.
My best buddy's son who got out of the USAF last year (was burned out by the Ops Tempo) came home found a job, got an apartment and was just getting settled into civilian life. He was laid off yesterday and moving back in with mom and dad.
I'm just a tad bit curious about all this - what "different approach" are we talking about here to "achieve your goals"? AFVETTE speaks of "do[ing] whatever it takes to care for our families." Is that what's going on here? Doing whatever it takes? Something like getting your pay/benefits cut, posting about it to generate some bad publicity, and pushing your then-former boss into reversing himself and bringing you back to work? Is that the "different approach" we're talking about here?

Glad to see you back in the saddle again. Times are tough, and are going to remain tough for a while. Hope everything works out with you and MP. You are a class act and I enjoyed doing business with you last year.
When your backs against the world, sometimes it's easier to give in more than you would normally. These are tough times and it's good to have a place to call home . . . without losing one. Good luck Rick. Wish I was in the position to test you.
