What parts to get from GM now?
With everything looking bad for GM, what are the top 5 parts you would buy for your C6 now from GM before they go into bandruptcy?

Parts is parts . . won't make any difference whether GM goes Ch 11 or not - - parts supply will be just fine.

Seeing the aftermarket already makes parts for the popular muscle cars of the 60's and 70's I see no reason to buy anything.
Besides, no matter what happens to GM I would bet money that they still honor warranty coverages.

If I thought they were going to flat out disappear, I think I would pick up a set of Z06 brakes.

I'm talking about parts that are GM exclusives..brakes can be bought pretty much anywhere. I'm thinking like original seat covers..stuff like that.

Save your money. Parts will be available for the forseeable future.

Just buy another Corvette as a parts car and you will have everything you'll need, at least once.

Five black ZR1s with the 3ZR trim level and chrome wheels. What parts could you possibly want that wouldn't be in that package?
Parts is parts. If GM doesn't make them someone else will.

Yeah, be like the canadian airforce...they have 13 F16 fighters. 4 of them actually fly, and the other 9 are used for parts.

You're being silly but I would definitely keep spare pistons, crankshaft, heads, frame, wiring harness, quarter panels. Lets see. What did I forget? Oh yea, BADGES!

I'd finish the basement fallout shelter first, two yrs of canned goods and water, batteries, weaponry.... then start stocking up on Corvette parts.
Or just not worry so much.
