I have written a book on the GT1 racing Corvettes which is currently with a publisher and should be in the shops by Christmas. Have loads of pics of Jake and will post in a couple of days but I am flying out to the US tomorrow!

Nigel,

what's the status on The Book?

Any website/publisher where to pre-order?

Thanks

Why does Jake only have 4 teeth/hashmarks on one side of his face?

DBR9 KLR has done a great writeup on Jake. I have been a team member at P&M from before the factory GM C5R/C6R program started
and what he has presented is just like I remember it.

Every year we would restencil the Jake emblem on the concrete
in front of the pit numbers 34 and 35 which we use every year.
Weather ages it some but every year it is still there and we refresh
it.

Here are a few pictures from this years LeMans. Hope I did it right.

Unloading the car at Monday tech inspection in downtown LeMans

C6R and drivers on front straight

Cleaning the winning car about 15 min from end of race. Scared
me a bit cause the car HAS to start and finish race no matter
how much a lead you may have

Trophy for GT1 win

Thank you for the write up, I liked what Jake represented when I first laid eyes on the Logo. The history and the "Take No Prisoners" attitude that's represented is definately cool. When I first researched the info it led me to Bad Boy Vettes website and Burston Marketing where I purchased a few items, that's my way of supporting the Brand. Long Live Jake and Corvette Racing!

Would the displaying of a Jake Skull be appropriate on a Z06, or should it just be left to the ZR-1?
