I get a forum error message that I am not allowed to view the link below which is part of this FAQ:
"C6 Corvette - SRQ, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:"
Exhaust
NPP - Non-Factory Installation: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...r-ecs-cow.html
Is there a reason for this?
Thanks...

For future reference, I added some NCM Bash threads to the C6 FAQ. I will update as more threads are posted.
- NCM Bash picture threads were added under "Picture Gallery" and the
- NCM Bash "2011 Features" thread by talon90 (Paul) were added under "Spec Sheets"

Yes, I believe that is typical as tires age and wear. There is a lot of rubber on the road considering the tire width on Vettes. I suspect that the rubber gets a bit harder with age and transfers a bit more road noise to the cockpit.

I would say you'll have to live with it for another 10,000 miles or so until you get a new set of tires. There are other "quieter" run-flats (although not significantly once they get some miles and years on them). Some people actually switch to non run-flats and carry an inflator on board just in case.

RRVETTE,
I didnt see a door pad fix in the FAQ's(which is outstanding BTW). I searched the forum and found this one, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...-pads-too.html. Could you add this to the sticky. Not that it is expensive to buy new switches but this was way faster and as a lot on here are DIYers it would definately help them out.

Fuel Door
On my C5 the was a spot for holding the fuel cap while filling. At first I didn't think the C6 had one but lo and behold there is a hook allowing one to drape the cap over the hook and away from the body of the car. Not as elegant as what the C5 had but just fine.

RRVettes,
I am the creator of the first C6 FAQ page "way back when" in 2004... I've been away with the military to parts of the world I can't talk about...but lets just say there aren't many vettes here! LOL!
A big "THANK YOU" for re-doing my C6 FAQ and keeping it timely and up-to-date as a service to the many thousands of C6 owners out there.
You've done a great FAQ/WIKI page, and I'm proud of the hard work you've done to update my original page... I just wish I had the time and resources to have kept it up-to-date, but you've done a fine job taking the reins.
Three cheers to you!

PS: Can't wait to get home and drive the Vette again...it's been tooooooo long!
It's one jackstands and a Battery Tender...awaiting my return next Summer....
