Is the C6 your FIRST Corvette?

...and how long have you owned Corvettes? Cumulative years are fine, if you had a gap in ownership

My first one was an 84, which I had for only a couple of months back in 1991:

I had a long gap in between my current Corvette, 13 years! I have owned my C5 since August 2004. I will never be without a Corvette ever again!

First one was 64 air coupe purchased in `74.

and then ten more over 30 of the next 35 years.

An ad in Motor Trend was the tipping point in 1974 . . "If you've wanted a Corvette since you were a kid . . ..you've waited long enough!"

In model years, I have only owned Corvettes for about 9 years. The only break in ownership was a few months waiting for delivery.

My first Vette was a 2002 C5.

My second Vette was a 2005 C6 (no wart).

My 3rd and current Vette is a 2008 C6.

The first Corvette I bought was a 02 coupe. It was the first Corvette that rode half way decently. I came close in 62 but I got married and purchased a Impala SS instead. I have driven every series Corvette made since the C1 except the ZR1. IMO the C6 is the best of them all. I absolutely love taking it out for a ride. And something else. I have purchased some 20 new cars and trucks in my lifetime and NOT ONE has been foreign built.

Still have a '61, not running tho- that's the only vette i ever drove, until i got an 09 MN6 Z51 vert. Damn, they've come a long way! I freakin' love this 09- I have seen a little oil consumption tho, in 2000 miles, so i'm a little concerned about the engine recall- am watching closely.........

My 2000 FRC was my first Corvette - and what a first Vett to own. I bought it new in Jan 2000 and sold it in Mar 2005. It was a great car. I ordered my 2008 C6 and picked it up at the NCM in September 2007. My birthday present: from me to me with love. Before that, I owned Camaros.
