turn the screws to the left .....counter clockwise.....it is very easy to do

also after you lower it you will need to drive it a little bit to let the sus settle down.

Thats all you need to do to lower car? How much can you lower and how is it accomplished?

And yes, since you're changing the ride height and suspension geometry, you will need to have the car realigned.
