If they made it with exactly the roofline and window size of the Vert top, I would be all over it....but....

/\ Me too! I wonder if the verts would be allowed to run lower et's in the 1/4 mile as well depending on the rigidity of the top?

I saw these tops at Carlisle 4 or 5 years ago. At that time I didn't understand why someone would want one, as the vert top has multiple layers and keeps the cabin warm in the winter, and also has a heated rear window to melt ice & snow. I guess, though, if you like the look, then that is sufficient justification for buying one for lots of $$$$. Far be it from me to criticize anyone for personalizing their C6. I haven't heard anything negative about the top other than it is pricey. If the OP likes it, go for it.

BTW, just curious, would they let a vert on the track if it had one of these tops? Or would they still require a welded-in rollbar/cage?

I like the looks too but I have never seen one in person.

If I used my Vert as a daily driver the extra weather protection, not to mention security might make it worth the high price.

Good point. I assume though, that in order to put on the hardtop, the convertible top needs to be in the down position, thus always reducing the amount of available trunk space.

Seems like a lot of money for something that you may not use all that much.
I had the hard top for my 69. It was on the car twice. The day I bought it, and the day the new owner drove it away. The rest of the time it spent getting in my way in the garage.
