Default Nav system question

is there a way to bypass the Nav so that you can make adjustments while driving? It is a pain having to stop to change address, etc.

No, I don't think the folks who responded to the 4-year long thread on the subject ever found a way to do it. You wouldn't want to put the GM lawyers out of work, would you?

I have a 08 FJ Cruiser which I installed a Toyota 4Runner Navigation unit, I was looking for away to bypass the speed sensor so I could input info while driving I ran across this post on the Toyota forums this guy makes this part that tricks the system into thinking its still in motion so you can enter info, I was reading older post about the Vette navigation unit and wondered if this might be of help or work with our system.
